Running more than one store
A second location changes everything. Menus, prices and staff policies need to stay consistent, but each site has its own stock, its own cash and its own quirks. SeroPOS includes chain store management on the Standard plan, so you manage products, prices and users from one account and push changes to every store at once instead of logging into each one separately.
Consolidated chain reporting shows sales, tax and stock across all locations, with the option to drill into a single site when something looks off. Owners stop piecing together the week from separate systems and spreadsheets, and can compare locations side by side to see which one is growing, which one is slipping and why.
Stock across locations
Stock transfers move inventory from one store or warehouse to another while keeping both counts accurate. In SeroBooks, transfers also move the stock’s value between locations, so each site’s margin reflects its real cost of goods rather than whatever happened to be bought at that address. That is essential if managers are judged on their store’s profit.
Low-stock alerts are per location, which lets you rebalance before reordering. Send surplus from the quiet store to the busy one before buying more from the supplier, and keep cash out of stock that is simply sitting in the wrong place. Warehouse bins in SeroBooks help when one location acts as a central store for the others.

Books for every location
SeroBooks tracks locations within a single double-entry ledger, so you can run a profit and loss statement per site and a consolidated one for the whole business from the same data. SeroBooks Starter and Standard include one location, SeroBooks Pro includes three, and each additional location is $100 a month in USD, the same add-on price as in SeroPOS.
If your locations are separate legal entities, SeroBooks multi-company keeps each one’s books, tax settings and reports apart while you work from one login. Accountants and bookkeepers get free practice seats, so the firm that does your year-end can review every company without you paying for an extra user on each one.
Control for managers and franchisees
SeroPOS has role-based permissions, and SeroBooks enforces 207 permission nodes on the server, with View and Allow set separately. A store manager can see and act on their own location without access to the others, and approvals can require head office sign-off on larger purchases, refunds or supplier payments before they go through.
On SeroBooks Pro, the audit trail records who did what, when and at which location. That gives franchisors and multi-site owners a reliable record when the numbers do not add up, and it makes conversations with a struggling location manager about facts rather than memory. Period locks keep closed months closed across every site.
Frequently asked questions
Does SeroPOS support multiple locations?
Yes. Chain store management is included in SeroPOS Standard at $29.99 a month in USD. You manage products, prices and staff across stores from one account, and consolidated chain reporting shows sales and stock across every location, with the option to drill into any single store.
How much does an extra location cost?
An additional location is $100 a month in USD for both SeroPOS and SeroBooks. SeroBooks Starter and Standard include one location, and SeroBooks Pro includes three locations along with payroll, forecasting, job costing and the audit trail. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
Can I transfer stock between stores?
Yes. Both SeroPOS and SeroBooks support stock transfers between locations. Counts update at both ends of the transfer, and in SeroBooks the inventory value moves with the stock, so each site’s cost of goods and margin stay accurate instead of being distorted by stock bought elsewhere.
Can I run separate companies in SeroBooks?
Yes. SeroBooks supports multi-company, so separate legal entities each keep their own ledger, tax settings and reports while you switch between them from one login. Accountants and bookkeepers get free practice seats to work across their clients’ companies without extra cost.
Can store managers be limited to their own location?
Yes. SeroPOS has role-based permissions, and SeroBooks enforces 207 permission nodes on the server. You can restrict a manager to their own location’s sales, stock and reports, and require approvals from head office for refunds, purchases or payments above the limit you set.
