A restaurant POS built for the rush
SeroPOS runs the front of house, the kitchen and the back office from one system, on the tablets, phones and computers you already own. Pair it with SeroPayroll for hourly staff and SeroBooks when the books outgrow the till.
Restaurants, handled by Sero
Kitchen tickets and KDS
Orders route to kitchen printers as KOTs or to a kitchen display screen, so the line sees every modifier the server rang in.
Floor plans with live status
Drag-and-drop floor plans show which tables are open, seated or waiting on a bill.
Modifiers that match your menu
Nested modifier groups with upcharges handle sides, temperatures, add-ons and substitutions without a free-text note.
Recipe and food costing
Recipes with ingredient-level costing deduct stock as you sell, so food cost is a number you can check, not a guess (SeroPOS Pro).
Keeps selling offline
Offline mode lets you keep ringing orders when the internet drops during service.
SeroBot answers the phone
The SeroBot AI phone assistant answers calls using your live menu and hours and can take reservations.
One company, one login, three products that share their numbers
SeroPOS
The point of sale built for the rush.
Point of sale for restaurants and retail — tables, kitchen tickets, inventory, loyalty and online ordering on iPad, Android, Windows and Mac.
SeroPayroll
Payroll for every province. Right to the cent.
Canadian payroll for all 13 provinces and territories — CPP, EI, QPP, vacation, stat holidays, remittances, T4s and ROEs.
SeroBooks
The books, the store, the bank. One ledger.
Accounting that runs the whole business — invoicing, inventory, banking, sales tax, payroll and year-end for Canada and the United States.
One system from the host stand to the dish pit
Most restaurants end up with a stack of tools: a POS for orders, a tablet for delivery, a spreadsheet for food cost and a separate app for schedules. SeroPOS pulls those jobs into one place. Servers ring orders on the sale screen, the kitchen sees them on a ticket or a KDS, and every sale lands in inventory and reporting at the same moment.
It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and macOS, with ESC/POS receipt and kitchen printers from Epson, Star and compatible brands connected by USB or network. There is no proprietary hardware to lease, so you can start on the iPad behind the bar, add a Windows terminal at the pass later, and keep using the printers you already bought.
- Dine-in, take-away and delivery order modes on the same screen
- Hold and resume orders for tabs and coursed tables
- Split bills evenly, by percentage, by item or a custom amount
- Mixed tender, discounts and tips at checkout
Kitchen flow that survives a Friday night
Every order can print a kitchen order ticket at the right station or appear on a kitchen display. Modifiers come through as structured lines, so “no onion, add bacon, medium rare” reads the same way on the screen as it did when the server tapped it. That cuts the remakes that eat into margin during a busy turn.
Combos, service products and per-category button colours keep the sale screen fast for new staff on their first weekend. Drag-and-drop button layouts and 30 themes let you put the items that sell most where thumbs land first. When the room is full and the ticket rail is long, that layout matters more than any feature on a spec sheet.
Food cost, inventory and suppliers
Recipes in SeroPOS Pro tie each menu item to its ingredients, so selling a burger draws down the bun, patty and cheese. Real-time inventory, low-stock alerts and purchase orders to suppliers mean you see a shortage before the line does, and stock adjustments record waste and spoilage instead of hiding it.
The reporting side has 25+ live reports covering sales, profit and loss, tax, stock, trending items and staff performance, each exportable to Excel or PDF. Register Z-reports close each shift, so a cash variance shows up against the person and the drawer that caused it rather than becoming a mystery at the end of the month.
Online orders, QR tables and the phone
Guests can scan a QR code to order and pay from the table, or order from your online catalogue with cart and checkout. Web orders drop into a queue on the POS next to walk-in tickets. For third-party delivery, SeroPOS offers delivery-platform menu and order management, with a direct Uber Eats integration rolling out in Canada.
SeroBot, the AI phone assistant in SeroPOS, answers calls using your live menu and hours and can take reservations. That keeps the phone from pulling a server off the floor at 7 p.m. to read out the specials for the fourth time, and it means the calls that come in during the rush still get an answer.
Staff, payroll and the books
SeroPOS includes HR tools for attendance, shifts and leave, and role-based permissions so a server cannot void a cheque that a manager should approve. When it is time to pay hourly staff in Canada, SeroPayroll handles CPP, EI, income tax, vacation pay, statutory holidays and overtime by each provincial statute, from $25 a month for up to 10 employees.
SeroPOS has built-in double-entry accounting and syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero on the Pro plan, or with SeroBooks from the same company. Your accountant gets clean daily sales, tax and tender totals instead of a shoebox of Z-tapes, and you get a profit and loss you can read without waiting for month-end.
Frequently asked questions
How much does SeroPOS cost for a restaurant?
SeroPOS Standard is $29.99 USD a month and SeroPOS Pro is $49.99 USD a month. Pro adds recipe management, QuickBooks and Xero sync, advanced reporting and priority support, which most restaurants want for food costing. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial, with no credit card, contracts or onboarding fees.
Does SeroPOS work without internet?
Yes. Offline mode lets you keep taking orders when your connection drops, so a router restart in the middle of service does not stop the line. Orders and sales sync back once the connection returns. Card payments still depend on your payment terminal and processor being able to reach their network.
What hardware do I need?
SeroPOS runs on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs. It works with ESC/POS receipt and kitchen printers from Epson, Star and compatible brands over USB or network, plus cash drawers, barcode scanners and kitchen display screens. The recommended card terminal is the Global Payments Verifone T650p. There is no proprietary lock-in.
Can SeroPOS handle delivery orders?
SeroPOS supports dine-in, take-away and delivery order modes, its own online store and QR ordering, and delivery-platform menu and order management. A direct Uber Eats integration is rolling out in Canada. Other delivery apps are not integrated directly today, so plan on managing those tablets separately for now.
Does SeroPOS do payroll for restaurant staff?
SeroPOS tracks attendance and shifts. Payroll itself runs in SeroPayroll, which covers all 13 Canadian provinces and territories, including CPP, EI, vacation pay, stat holidays and overtime, from $25 a month for up to 10 employees. US restaurants can run payroll inside SeroBooks Pro.
